There are 10 easy things you can do to be more successful!

New to Management?

Relishing the challenge?  Excited by the future? Feeling a bit apprehensive about your new responsibilities?

It would be quite natural to be feeling a multitude of emotions.  Everyone finds the transition into management, or into managing a new team, a challenge.  Good managers make their role look easy, deceptively simple even, yet they are constantly balancing the demands of the organisation, the needs of their team and the changing requirements of the corporate environment.

Adopt a coaching style

Adopting a coaching style will help you develop into a great manager.  It is a flexible style that allows you to get the best from every member of your team.  Coaching your team, rather than purely directing them:

  • encourages them to invest themselves in finding a solution to problems,
  • allows them to engage in collaborative decision-making,
  • gives them self-confidence; and
  • helps to develop them personally and professionally.

Consequently, your organisation benefits from increased staff retention and productivity.  And your career prospects will be boosted as well.

“Doing the course is one of the best investments I have made. It has changed the way I approach everything and has also reinvigorated my passion to help. The energy boost it has given me is fantastic. Definitely recommend this to anyone who has a thirst to learn and look at things differently.”

Anjali Gudhka, ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Management, Autumn 2017

Why learn coaching with us?

Our lead trainer, Jeremy Lazarus, is an expert coach (Accredited Master Executive Coach, and Coach Assessor for The Association for Coaching), with over 18 years’ experience of coaching and training managers; our associates are also highly experienced and qualified.  Our coach training courses are accredited by The ILM (Institute of Leadership  and Management) and The Association for Coaching.

The coaching training we offer is very experience-based.  You will learn the theory and you will have lots of opportunities to put it into practice to help embed the knowledge.

A holistic approach

One of the biggest limitations to your ability to manage effectively and your team’s ability to perform well is self-belief.  Jeremy is a well-known published author and highly experienced Master Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).  NLP is the practice of understanding how people organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour, which improves communication and helps people to take positive action to effect change.  Our coaching courses include references to core NLP techniques to help you challenge your own self-limiting beliefs and to help your team to do the same.

Personal support

Whether you need some help to decide which course or qualification would suit you best, or you are struggling to remember something you learned whilst training with us, we are always available to provide guidance and advice.  Feel free to get in touch whenever you have a question.

On the training we make sure that the ratio of participants to qualified coaching assistants is low so that you can receive 1-to-1 support and feedback to hone your coaching skills.

“The [coaching] course was exceptional.  It really related back to real business world examples and gave confidence to try and implement straight away.”
