“I’m buzzing. I did my free talk on mental rehearsal tonight to a bigger group of elite junior athletes, parents and coaches. It went even better than the first one and at the end of the session all of the adults asked for my card. I’ve also now been booked to do a paid talk on mental performance to a judo club. This is all as a result of recommendation, and using materials prepared on the ILM Recognised Train the Trainer course.”
Paul Hewitt, Sports Performance Coach, European Jet-Ski Champion 2016

Frequently asked questions

For each topic you will first learn the key theory and background. Then you will see a demonstration and do an exercise to put it into practice. Finally, you will discuss how to apply the learnings. There will be numerous presenting / training exercises, and you will learn different approaches to use for different groups. The trainers and the coaching assistants will be there to give you feedback and support to improve your skills.
Also, the course is taught by Jeremy Lazarus, a Master Trainer of NLP and a former Finance Director, with more than 10,000 hours of presenting and running training courses, including several media appearances. Jeremy had to learn about presentations the ‘hard way’, and so will provide the empathy and feedback to support you in your development.
Yes! We will let you know about the pre-course preparation, which will mainly involve thinking of a couple of presentations that you want to work on during the course.
