Overview of our ADCT course
Introduction
The ADCT qualification requires:
- 80 hours of classroom study
- 70 hours of self-study
- 40 hours of coaching practice
Our ADCT course slightly exceeds this, and the ADCT qualification is relevant for all four of the AC’s coaching levels.

How to gain the ADCT
There are two routes for you to gain the AC’s ADCT qualification with us.
- Either attend our NLP Practitioner course, plus:
- Complete a 2 day Core Coaching Skills course
- Write an essay (approx. 1,000 words) on NLP Presuppositions and AC coaching competencies. (5 hours).
- Complete 40 hours of evidenced coaching practice, plus 3 hours of supervision
- Write an essay (approx. 1,500 words) describing how you have used 3 hours of supervision in your coaching, including gathering information on the coaching practice (8 hours in all)
- Write an essay (approx. 1,500 words) reflecting on your coaching (10 hours in all).
- Or attend our NLP Master Practitioner course, plus
- Complete a 2 day Core Coaching Skills course
- Write an essay (approx. 1,000 words) on NLP Presuppositions and AC coaching competencies. (5 hours).
- Complete 40 hours of evidenced coaching practice, plus 3 hours of supervision
- Write an essay (approx. 1,500 words) describing how you have used 3 hours of supervision in your coaching, including gathering information on the coaching practice (8 hours in all).
- Write an essay (approx. 1,500 words) reflecting on your coaching (10 hours in all),
- Write an essay (approx. 2,000 words) reflecting on how your coaching has progressed since you started coaching, and how you will enhance your coaching skills (20 hours in all).
