What happens when you book

We always send you a confirmation email with an invoice or receipt, information about the course, timings and instructions on how to get to the venue. For any of our ILM recognised or NLP certified courses, we will call you after you book to discuss how you can get the most from the course (this is best practice in the coaching and NLP training industry), and we will send you a more detailed confirmation email – please see below:

Introduction to Coaching Skills or Core Coaching Skills

  • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
  • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).
  • If you are doing the ILM recognised version, we ask you what your email address and date of birth is so that we can register you for student membership with the ILM.
  • We will send you the login information for our members website and ask you to watch 5 videos from a previous course as your pre-course study.

ILM Level 5 (or 7) Certificate in (Executive) Coaching & Mentoring

  • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
  • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).
  • We ask you what your email address and date of birth is so that we can register you for student membership with the ILM.  This gives you access to the ILM website resources for a year to help with the qualification.
  • We will send you the course manual and ask you to read part of it in preparation for the course.

NLP Diploma

  • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
  • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).
  • We will send you the course manual and ask you to read part of it in preparation for the course.

    • NLP Practitioner and NLP Sports Practitioner

    • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
    • As we offer 3 months free membership of the ANLP, we will check that you are happy for us to share your name and email address with the ANLP.
    • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).
    • We will send you the Practitioner CDs and course manual electronically (as mp3s and a pdf), the physical versions will be available for a small additional charge.  You need to listen to the CDs or read the manual at least 3 times as preparation before the start of the course.  If you are doing the 2 day Sports Practitioner for existing Practitioner we will give out a manual on the course.
    • We ask you to complete a 70 question NLP Integration paper and return it to us for marking 2 weeks before module 3 of the course starts.  It is an open-book paper and all the answers are in the course manual and CDs which you can refer to whilst completing it.

    NLP Master Practitioner

    • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
    • We ask you to send us a copy of your NLP Practitioner course certificate – we are happy to receive a scanned version by email or post or fax.
    • As we offer 3 months free membership of the ANLP, we will check that you are happy for us to share your name and email address with the ANLP.
    • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).
    • We will send you the Master Practitioner CDs and course manual electronically (as mp3s and a pdf), the physical versions will be available for a small additional charge.  You need to listen to the CDs or read the manual at least 3 times as preparation before the start of the course.
    • We ask you to complete a 50 question NLP Master Practitioner paper and return it to us for marking 2 weeks before the course starts.  It is an open-book paper and all the answers are in the course manual and CDs which you can refer to whilst completing it.

    NLP Trainers Training

    • We ask you to  confirm that you agree to our standard training agreement (see "The Training Agreement" below).
    • We ask you to send us a copy of your NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner course certificates – we are happy to receive scanned versions by email or post or fax.
    • As we offer 3 months free membership of the ANLP, we will check that you are happy for us to share your name and email address with the ANLP.
    • We usually distribute the delegate’s contact details with the other delegates and we ask if you are happy to be included in the list.
    • We ask you what name you would like on your course name badge and course certificate (which you will receive on successful completion of the course).

    The Training Agreement

    All our courses lasting one day or more are subject to the training agreement. On all these courses we ask you to reply to our training agreement email to confirm you have read and accept the training agreement (we will take the reply to represent your electronic signature). In summary, the key points of this are:

    • you are over 18 years old
    • you agree to use the material only for the positive benefit of yourself and others
    • you agree not to record the course
    • you acknowledge that you are psychologically and medically fit enough to do the course, and are not doing the course as a substitute for counselling or psychotherapy (we are not therapists or counsellors).

    Training materials

    For the ILM Level 5 or 7 Certificate in (Executive) Coaching & Mentoring, NLP Diploma, NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Trainers Training courses, you will receive your own pre-study pack when you book. For other training courses you will receive the materials on the first morning of the course.

    How are our courses structured?

    All of our courses are structured so that each segment covers the necessary theory, as well as demonstrations and practical exercises. There will be ample time for questions, and qualified assistants will be at hand to help you with any questions that you may have during the course.
